A native of Colorado Springs, Meghan began dancing at the young age of three, continuing through into her high school and college years, in which she attended The University of Wyoming. While in Wyoming, she participated in numerous performances, dancing several featured roles, including a pas de deux in Marsha Knight’s “Cinq cadeaux de Chopin” and the soloist role of “Spanish” in the University’s production of The Nutcracker. In 2014, Meghan had the honor of performing in the adjudication performance of the American College Dance Association Regional Conference. Soon after, she had the incredible opportunity to studying abroad in London, England, where she had the wonderful privilege of training under such distinguished teachers as Tory Trotter, Adam Pudney, Ian Knowles, and Raymond Chai.
In the spring of 2016, Meghan began her professional dance career as a company member with Aurora, Colorado’s modern dance company, Kim Robard’s Dance.
Well versed in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, lyrical, and jazz, Meghan prides herself in her experience of costume work, dance administrative work, aerial silks, and dance film.
Dance has been an expression, an outlet, a character builder, and a constant home for Meghan; she finds her greatest joy in sharing this gift with others. Since joining The PEAK School of Dance team in September 2016, not only has she seen the studio grow and develop, but she has also experienced incredible growth and development within herself as she has gotten to work with so many wonderful students and staff. Meghan feels extremely blessed to be a part of The PEAK School of Dance family and looks forward to the coming experiences and adventures!
